Evening mouth

Combat sports fans have plenty to do in the summer. In Savonlinna, there are two hard-hitting events where the man will be thoroughly tested - in July, even in Finland, with an unprecedentedly diverse coverage. 16. The Fight Night Huwila Areena held in July features both professional boxing and freestyle matches. 

This is the first time in Finland that you can watch these two sports in the same event. There are four professional boxing matches and four freestyle matches.  The professional boxers present are Olavi Hagert, Jamil Elo, Ivan Perälä and Elia Juusti. Middleweight Olavi Hagert (5–0) will make his comeback match at the event, when the boxer from Mikkeli returns to the ring after a six-year break. Hagert will face Hungarian Laszlo Koszeg in the final fight of the evening. Ivan Perälä, who is making his professional debut in Savonlinna, will face Janos Lakatos, also from Hungary, in the upper middleweight fight.  The opponents of Jamil Elo and Elia Juusti will be confirmed soon. Juusti is the second Finnish debutant of the event, who won silver at the 91-kilogram WC as an amateur. On the other hand, Jamil Elo, who plays in the middle division, will enter the professional ring for the third time. The public has a great opportunity to see the future stars of the domestic professional boxing field at the beginning of their careers.  On the free match side, three amateur matches and one professional match will be played. 

Plans have been changed along the way, as the match between Mici Saaristo and Oskar Jaskar, originally planned as a professional match, had to be canceled due to Saaristo's back injury. Instead, the audience will get to see how Turku's Kirill Andreev takes the measure of Latvia's Ricards Ozols in a middleweight match. As an amateur, Andreev has twice won the Finnish championship and once the European Championship silver.  

In the amateurs, you can see a lot of local freestyle skills, because in each of the three amateur matches, the other side is a member of the Savonlinna Fighters House club. Jari Löppönen of the intermediate category will meet Jyri Lehdo of Espoo, Marko Heponiemi of the lightweight category will meet Petteri Ronkainen of Oulu, and Marko Kettunen of the intermediate category will face Lassi Leivo of Lahti.

Entrance tickets for the Fight Night Huwila Areena event are on sale at Lippupiste for 38.50 euros. The event starts at 7 p.m., when the amateur freelancers begin their work. After them, we will see a match between professional free fighters, and after a half-hour break, it will be the turn of professional boxers.
